Is it time to tackle your backyard and create a dreamlike living room/entertainment area? The idea of building a pergola always seems intimidating., And if it falls apart because it wasn’t built with proper support?! Fortunately, We found a company that sells those black brackets you see. This way you can confidently DIY a pergola without any fear of it “unexpectedly falling off.” Presto! The whole family can now enjoy endless summer nights in the backyard under that epic pergola.
Concrete Stamps
Concrete Stampings (YES, it is painted)
I mean this whole transformation is amazing, but probably the most impressive part of this outdoor space is the DIY concrete stencil. The total cost was $120. Yes, your eyes do not deceive you! So for less than $150, you too can turn your gray cement into something just as fun.
The Perfect Sunroom
Now let’s head back inside, we’re just dipping our toes into “outdoor” but it’s a sunroom because that’s kind outside, right?
We play by our own rules and definitions here. This stunning transformation took five weeks and cost $800 (minus the rug and curtain dye). First paint the space with ‘ Extra white, the accent wall with Aubusson Blue, and the floors with gray epoxy paint. With some help from friends, we then built a bed swing, turned free tree trunks into coffee tables, and then made custom Olive Curtains by dying white Kmart curtains., The rest of the pieces were either owned or spared. It looks amazing!
